CINDERELLA
North Wales Theatre, Llandudno
Brief Synopsis
Heralded as North Wales' biggest ever pantomime, this Cinderella was a splendidly magnificent production and for a second year in succession gave Vicki the opportunity of adding a new role to her pantomime repertoire. This she did as the Wicked Stepmother, vamping it up in the form of Lady Cruella a truly unique portrayal in which Vicki gave the traditional panto "baddie" a totally fresh dimension while retaining all the time honoured essential elements that are expected.
Finding herself orphaned, Cinderella is forced to live under the repression of her wicked stepmother and two ugly stepsisters with only Buttons and the kitchen mice for friends. When a royal invitation to the Princes Ball arrives, Cinderella’s evil family contrive to stop her going, however, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother has other ideas!

Vicki Michelle’s man-eating Lady Cruella is a splendid creation. Her costumes knock your eyes out and it’s great to have numbers like Big Spender and Diamonds are a Girls Best friend performed with such élan in a pantomime.
The cast are without exception superb. Vicki Michelle is brilliant as the wicked Lady Cruella (in other words the wicked Stepmother) The audience hates and hisses at her from the moment she makes her first appearance.
Miss Michelle is huge fun in the role, slipping in a bit of her Allo Allo character at one point and it’s a pleasure to watch her relish the villainy
The big female name this year is Vicki Michelle who is dressed to kill as Lady Cruella, a slinky diva who’s not above knocking your eyes out with a belting Big Spender or Diamonds are a girls Best Friend.
There is only one word to describe this production – class. Every aspect of the show was of the best quality. All the cast put over the songs with aplomb. Vicki Michelle was an unusually glamorous step mum
This show certainly delivers its required quota of comedy song and entertainment above all it looks a million dollars
